I am a PhD candidate at the University of Oregon working in the areas of macro and development economics. On the job market paper, I will be presenting research on the macroeconomic implications of bounded rationality - that is, optimal decision-making with limited information - in financial markets.
My other research includes capital requirements and financial access in Mexico, the distributional effects of stock return beliefs, and joint work on the effectiveness of mortgage servicing licensing standards in the US.
Before entering the program, I spent several years working in financial services in my home country, Honduras.
