I am currently a Visiting Professor of Economics at the University of Arkansas.
I got my PhD from the University of Oregon in June 2025. My research areas are Macroeconomics, Finance, and Development Economics. My work focuses on the macroeconomic implications of bounded rationality - that is, optimal decision-making with limited information - in financial markets.
My other research includes capital requirements and financial access in Mexico, the distributional effects of stock return beliefs, and joint work on the effectiveness of mortgage servicing licensing standards in the US.
My professional experience encompases several years working in financial services in my home country, Honduras.
